Alamance Children’s Theatre (ACT) will present Disney’s Finding Nemo Jr, at the Snow Camp Outdoor Theatre in Snow Camp, NC. Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin, and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo JR. brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.
Regular performance dates are October 9-11 and 16-18, 2025. There will be at least six regular performances in total. There will be no school shows for this production.
Directed by Tami Kress
Music Direction by Teresa Leiser

CAST LIST ANNOUNCEMENT:
A huge thank you to the auditionees that came out for Finding Nemo auditions. We had a great turnout with so many incredible and talented kids. Unfortunately, we could not cast everyone. Remember, there are so many things that go into casting besides talent – age, voice, tone and volume, potential chemistry with the rest of the cast, you name it, and it makes a difference to a director. Please continue to audition for future shows!
For those who were cast as actors or production members, you must email NemoJrAct2025@gmail.com by 9am on Thursday, August 21st to accept or decline your role. When you accept your role, please make sure you provide an email address that would be best for us to provide you AND your parent with the welcome links that will provide you access to the Welcome Letter, necessary forms that require adult and/or performer signatures.
There will be a MANDATORY parent meeting on Thursday, August 21st at 7pm at Alamance Lutheran and all cast, and a parent or guardian should be in attendance.
